If your community group has been affected by the floods, and you are having difficulty starting or completing any relief funding applications, get in touch with us via DM, email, or comment below! Lovely catch up today to brainstorm ideas, share some kai and laughs with the team 🤗 We can’t wait to share all of our ideas with you this year! If your community group are having difficulty starting or completing any of relief funding applications, please get in touch with us. We are on the lookout for our first Pou Ārahi. 🚨 In a new blog post, Hui E! Kaiwhakahaere Matua, Rochelle Stewart-Allen shares three recommended changes to begin the long journey towards better serving our communities. 🌏 You can learn more about Ananda’s mahi via LinkedIn or on their website: https://anandavalenzuela.org/ For the last couple of years, our Kaihautū Patuitanga, Ronja Ievers, did a small side hustle as part of her role with Hui E!, coordinating the mahi of ComVoices and activating and supporting its members. Ronja best describes ComVoices as a network of peak bodies, and Hui E! is a proud member. Its mission is to amplify the voices of Aotearoa’s community sector so that we can influence decision-makers. Happy new year! The Hui E! team are back in action. We are kicking off 2023 inspired and refreshed. Part of our exciting mahi this year is the search for our first-ever Pou Ārahi. This is a newly created unique opportunity to build spaces for Māori community voices to be heard and represented. This leadership role is ideal for a forward thinker who is ready to collaborate and translate kōrero about decolonisation into action. Our Kaihautū Hapori, Sakhr @sakhr_m and Kaihautū Patuitanga, Ronja, have a special message for you. Happy holidays everyone! 🎄
