Since COVID has arrived into Aotearoa New Zealand, our community groups have been at the forefront of the COVID response keeping our communities well and cared for. The impact on those organisations, however, has been felt the most by our smallest community groups – those with revenue under $100,000.

Smaller organisations were more impacted by funding challenges, and more likely to cut their service delivery levels. As well as needing increased funding to help them keep supporting their communities, these groups are asking for more volunteers, fundraising assistance, marketing and communications support, and increased access to digital technology tools.
