Hui E!’s Community Resilience Programme provides a direct respond to the impact of COVID-19 on Aotearoa’s tangata whenua, community and voluntary organisations.

This follows on from Hui E!’s joint work in 2021 recording the impacts of COVID-19 on community organisations.

The programme will be building a series of community and social initiatives to help strengthen community hauora, resilience and wellbeing at a community organisational level.

This includes offering practical advice, support and connection for community organisations in need.

The key deliverables we expect to deliver are:

  1. Building ongoing support for the community sector during the COVID-19 recovery period
  2. Addressing identified community sectors needs
  3. Engaging with a broad range of stakeholders around the motu. This will help us collectively create and utilise linkages, align priorities, identify and resource support, and source additional funding if required.

If you’d like to stay updated as this programme expands, do join up with the Hui E! network (it’s FREE).
