Te Here Tāngata – This Way of Life
Hui E! Community Aotearoa has teamed up with ‘The 35 Collective’ a roopu of grassroots Māori community organisations in the Eastern Bay of Plenty rohe to shine the spotlight on their mahi in the community. The 35 Collective has named this taonga ‘Te Here Tāngata – This Way of Life,’ signifying the connections and bonds formed through the sharing of knowledge and wisdom of mātauranga Māori. Exploring Equitable Funding Solutions For Grassroots Māori Community Organisations
We are excited to announce our very first Māori community-led funding workshop. During this event, we will launch the Te Herenga Tāngata documentary and work with funders to address funding application challenges.
If you’re a small Māori community organisation in the Bay of Plenty rohe and find funding applications a challenge or simply want to explore available grants, we’ve got your back!
In collaboration with Bay Trust and The 35 Collective, we’re bringing to you this community-led funding wānanga.
Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to complete a funding application that will tautoko your mahi in the community.
We know that grassroots community groups work tirelessly to uplift the hauora and well-being of our communities, even when resources are scarce.
Let’s work together to make funding more accessible for our grassroots Māori community groups!
