Seven people have been nominated for the three vacancies on the Hui E! Trust Board. It is exciting that so many people have confidence in Hui E! and its kaupapa, and want to be a part of leading Hui E! through its next phase of development.
That number of candidates means we will hold a web-based election, using the STV voting system agreed by the Hui E! Board, where each voting Formal Supporter organisation ranks candidates.
The seven represent a wide range of community sector engagement, with strong diversity of age, gender, culture and place of residence.
The voting will be conducted among Formal Supporters of Hui E! during the period Monday October 19th 9am to Friday November 6th 5pm. A statement and biographical information from each candidate will be made available to those who are voting.
Results of the election will be announced publicly at the Hui E! Annual Meeting – Monday November 23rd at 10.30am. The meeting will be held in Wellington, but people from other centres will be able to join by video link.
