The three main functions of Hui E! are:
  • Hui – a forum for the sector
  • Awhina – practical support for the sector
  • Korero – a public voice for the sector.
“This is an exciting and challenging role, and I’m delighted to have been appointed,” said Peter Glensor. “We want to be talking with large and small groups right around the country, discussing the key issues and providing practical support. The community sector is the social glue that holds communities together, and this new body is an exciting new way to provide support and enhance connections.” For further comment:
